Originally from Southern Italy and currently based in Florence, Luca di Napoli underwent formal training at the Fine Arts School in Florence before specializing in the technical discipline of animation cinema in Paris. His practice is characterized by an investigation into the manifestation of subconscious imagery, translating what he describes as “informed visions” into complex, multi-layered physical compositions.

At present, his work centers on traditional painting and graphic series, with a particular emphasis on chromatic restraint and structured, yet often bizarre, figurative arrangements. His methodology is highly deliberate, moving from spontaneous drafts to an analytical finalization process where color palettes and line weights are carefully defined to maintain compositional balance.

His work is informed by a philosophy that explores the tension between opposing states, such as the balance between chaos and harmony or the relationship between humanity and the natural world. Luca di Napoli has participated in various international exhibitions and festivals, notably within the cultural landscape of Paris. His works are held in private collections and have been featured in publications documenting his evolution from illustrative roots to refined fine art.

He continues to develop projects that challenge the boundaries of traditional media while collaborating with PRINTED PRINTED to bring his work into diverse architectural and public spaces worldwide.
